I count it most fortunate to have found Vintage Grace over 5 years ago! Kathie made me feel welcome and wanted! This hidden gem was where I needed to be! Kathie and Jim have made a quiet, peaceful bite of nature for us all. Their meticulous attention to detail is appreciated and truthfully lightens our load. I know I am in good company among the many who are privileged to wake up every day to the serenity of Vintage Grace.

We have been living here going on 8 years. We love this community and the owners Jim and Kathie Brown. The area is well kept and beautiful. We have never once regretted the decision we made on moving here. We feel the rules of the community are for our privacy and protection. Could not find a better place to spend our retirement years.

I have been living here for several years and couldn't be happier. The owners are very kind and dedicated to providing a well maintained and enjoyable small retirement community. They are attentive and provide quick assistance if a resident need arises. The community is in a semi-rural location, and there is an emphasis to blend in with the natural environment. If one is prepared to live without many of the conveniences of an urban setting and wishes to live in harmony with nature, then this small community is perfect.

The owners, Jim and Kathie, are wonderful people that truly care about making life at Vintage Grace extraordinary! They are never satisfied. They continue to add to an already fantastic living environment. One of the best decisions we have ever made.

I’ve lived at Vintage Grace just shy of a year, and it has been wonderful! Everything the residents share about this place is true… It’s peaceful, there are activities, it’s beautiful, and there is joy and unity here. The one thing that means the most to me is that the owners, Kathie and Jim, only charge a fair and reasonable amount for us to live in such a great place. They use our rent money to sow back into the community, providing us with even more enhancements to the property. One thing that stood out to me when I was inquiring about living here is that Kathie told me that their motive is not to make money; their motive is the people… to offer a place of happiness where people can come and rest and enjoy their retirement years. They have lived up to what she said. It truly is a great place with great people!

I’ve been a resident of Vintage Grace now for 5 1/2 years. I absolutely love it here. It is beautiful, so well-kept, peaceful, and safe. Almost all of the residents have been here for several years or since inception of the community. Kathie and Jim, the owners, are amazing and caring people who look out for our safety and well-being in multiple ways and have invested so much into the community to build ponds, plant more trees, and to help us enjoy the amenities, wide-open spaces, wooded areas, and nature all around us. Examples: They publish a monthly calendar of fun events so that we can all regularly gather and enjoy each other’s company. We have pot luck events in the Community Center and other food and fun events in the Patio building, which the owners built for our additional enjoyment a few years ago. They have outfitted this building with glass patio doors for enjoying beautiful days, a great kitchen with quartz countertops, large-screen TV and terrific sound system for regular movie nights and concerts, fitness equipment, and games. We have game nights, coffee mornings, birthday parties, and exercise classes. Many residents also sponsor their own fun events, such as wine & cheese parties, BBQ’s, art classes, ice cream socials, pumpkin carving, etc. The owners provided a brand new dog park area for our canine friends and we have just had our first doggie birthday party! LOL. We gather for everything from long walks to fireside chats, while also getting to enjoy our own little cozy and comfortable homes. Kathie & Jim, along with our fellow residents, regularly help each other with such “grace” when someone is ill or needing help with various tasks. We have each made lifelong friends here… no shortage of hugs to go around when we gather. I thank Jim and Kathie for providing us with such a charming community and for fostering guidelines to ensure a beautiful place to live with the most aesthetic appeal and some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets I’ve ever seen! Having lived the big city life with a long career in corporate America, I am so blessed to live my retirement years at Vintage Grace. It is such an amazing place to call home… I always say that I feel like I am both at home and on vacation at the very same time! :)

Vintage Grace is a wonderful place to call our second home. Kathie, Jim and all the residents makes us feel like family when we come for the winter months. We feel very secure and safe here at VG. The catch and release fishing ponds on property are a wonderful past time for my husband who loves to fish. Jim and Kathie are working tirelessly to make sure our community is clean and Beautiful. My husband and I live in Michigan during the summer and fall months. Vintage Grace is our winter home. This will be our 6th winter/spring spent in this beautiful, peaceful and so very comfortable place. And we can hardly wait to get there! Jim and Kathie work hard to keep this little community so lovely and inviting as well as safe and secure. It is a place where people enjoy getting together and where neighbors feel like family. Jim and Kathie genuinely care for each of the residents and are quick to respond when there is a need. We feel blessed to have our Texas home in Vintage Grace. It is, indeed, our happy place!

I don’t personally live in Vintage Grace, however my mother has lived there for 3 1/2 years now and she absolutely loves it. It is such a relief to know she lives in a warm, welcoming, and family-like community. Every time I have visited her, Kathie & Jim always wave at me, and make an effort to say hello, and make me feel welcomed as well. Absolutely love Vintage Grace, and would highly recommend it for any adult children looking for places for their parents to spend a peaceful retirement!

Since I moved to Vintage Grace I have never been happier. It’s like living in a park full of doll houses. The owners live on-site and a quick to answer all the residents needs. Jim and Kathie Brown always do more than is expected of them. Great place to live.

I have lived in the vintage grace community for 3 1/2 years. This was definitely one of the best decisions i have ever made.
It is a caring community of people…..And…..Jim and kathie brown go out of their way to make it a great place to live. I highly recommend this community. It is a beautiful, peaceful place to locate your tiny home. A positive experience all the way!!!

I have lived in Vintage Grace since Feb 2016. It is a great Park Model Community and the owners have established rules to keep it great! They have built every thing they advertised: a community center, a patio building, a park model for visiting friends or family, and three storm shelters. This place will never become a trashy RV park. I doubt one could find a better Park Model community in Texas.
